OLUFEMI. O. OKENLA

Mr Olufemi Okenla is a seasoned dual jurisdiction Legal Practitioner with extensive experience in varied areas of Laws of England and Wales and Nigeria.

Mr. Okenla has over thirty-three years of post qualification experience as a lawyer. He is a dual jurisdiction lawyer having qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1988 and subsequently as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2000. He has extensive experience and unparalleled wealth of local knowledge of both jurisdictions with the added advantage of practicing in England, which has undoubtedly equipped him with international exposure to blend with any advice he is giving on Nigerian law. Mr. Okenla is the founder and currently the Managing Partner and Compliance Officer Finance and Administration (COFA) of Mountain Partnership Solicitors established since January 2001, Mr. Okenla leads and motivates the firm's specialist teams in all the core areas of practice.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), The Law Society of England and Wales and International Bar Association.

DR MUIZ ADEYEMI BANIRE, SAN

Dr. Banire is a Partner and Registered Foreign Lawyer in our firm having obtained his law degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1988 and was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1989. Dr. Banire returned to the University of Lagos for a Master’s degree (LLM) between 1990 and 1991 during which time he was simultaneously in active legal practice.

Dr. Muiz is a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London; Fellow, Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria; Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management; Member, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators; Member, Nigerian Universities Network Management Committee; Member, Editorial Committee of Nigerian Journal of Contemporary Law; Member, Editorial Committee of International and Comparative Journal of Peace and Environment; Member, Nigeria Bar Association and the International Bar Association. Due to his active legal practice and his contribution to the legal profession, he was conferred with the Rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2015. He became a member of the Body of Benchers in 2017 as well as a member of the National Judicial Council in 2017. Dr. Banire, who is a Notary Public is the principal partner that handles our firm’s work in cross jurisdiction matters and oversees our Associate Office in Lagos, Nigeria.

Chernor Maju Jalloh – Solicitor

Mr Jalloh is a Partner , head of the Immigration Department and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLPs). He qualified as a solicitor in 2014, and he is a dedicated solicitor who is focused upon protecting his client's interest. Mr Jalloh has extensive experience in complex litigation, Family and Housing law matters.

Mr. Jalloh has successful experience in many areas of litigation including defamation, harassment, professional negligence, landlord and tenant disputes, commercial and civil dispute matters. Mr. Jalloh's family law practice includes acting for clients in matters relating to divorce, ancillary relief / financial matters and child contact proceedings.

Ayodele Sodimu

Having previously worked at John Itsagwede and Co. Solicitors (now JI SolicitorsLtd) as a caseworker from 2000 to 2006, he later worked at Peter Otto & Co Solicitors from its inception in 2007 until October 2018.

Mr. Sodimu graduated from University of Westminster where he read law. He then went to complete a postgraduate diploma in European Union Law at the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University.

His areas of practice are mainly in civil litigation , family, housing and immigration law.

Mr. Sodimu is passionate about photography and farming, spending his free time in pursuing his hobbies across the UK. Europe and Africa.
